Mission Statement

Rainbow Bookstore Cooperative is a cooperatively owned and collectively managed bookstore focusing on books and resources that challenge the status quo. Our collective management style serves as a model for a democratically controlled economy, and against private profit at the expense of the community.

As part of our work toward political and social change, we are committed to keeping books and periodicals from independent publishers available to readers, as well as providing a public space where people can share information and ideas.
